About

I’ve been a photographer since 1986, a professional since 1989. Commercial and Portraiture have been my mainstay but I dabble in other genres as well (as you can see). I received my degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography in 1989 and was lucky enough to jump right in to my passion. I have lived and photographed all over the United States.

No, I haven’t traveled the world teaching, doing workshops, or showing my work in a long list of galleries. Nor have I won any prestigious awards or been offered sponsorship deals from any international photographic company (but would consider it if it was the right product…….just sayin).

What I have been lucky enough to do is photograph thousands of people, quite a few of whom have become great friends. Really, that’s the only long list I need.

When I read these “About” sections what I look for is the person behind the images I see. So here is a little peak.

“Whether I am photographing Landscapes, Still Life, Personal Projects, or Portrait Sessions I’m a film photographer to the end. I enjoy old Jeeps, expired film, interesting people, and places off the beaten path. Just trying to make the world a better place one photo at a time.”
